Health Dashboard

Overview
The health dashboard is the Overview workspace. It is your operating view of CMDB quality, change activity, and remediation work for the active environment.
Go to Overview in the workspace menu.
Dashboard Components
Summary Row
| Item | Meaning |
|---|---|
| CMDB health | The overall health score (0-100) and its level |
| Monitored CIs | The CIs that cmdbx scores |
| At-risk CIs | CIs with Poor or Critical health |
| Weakest domain | The health component with the lowest average score |
| Workflow | Corrections that are ready for review or staged |
| Freshness | The time since the last sync |
CMDB Health Score
The overall score uses these levels:
| Score | Status | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 90-100 | Excellent | Strong data quality |
| 75-89 | Good | Minor improvements recommended |
| 50-74 | Fair | Room for improvement |
| 25-49 | Poor | Requires attention |
| 0-24 | Critical | Immediate action needed |
The panel also shows the average score and the weight of each component: completeness, relationships, freshness, ownership, CSDM, and operational status. See How Health Scores Work.
Next Best Actions
A short, ranked list of the most useful next steps, for example CIs that need an owner or corrections that need review. Click an action to open the related workspace. Click Run sync to start a full sync.
Findings
The counts of active, critical, overdue, and awaiting-verification findings. Click Open workspace to go to Remediation.
CMDB Activity
A summary of the changes from the latest completed sync. See CMDB Activity and Time Machine.
Health Distribution
The number of CIs at each health level. Click a level to open CI Health with that filter.
Remediation Pipeline
The number of corrections in each stage: ready for review, staged, rejected, executed, and dismissed.
Health Trend
The history of the overall health score. Select 7d, 30d, or 90d to change the period.
Criticality vs Health
A matrix of business criticality against health level. Use it to find critical CIs with poor health.
How to Use the Dashboard
Daily
- Check the health score and the freshness.
- Review the next best actions.
- Open Remediation to work on the highest-priority issues.
Weekly
- Review the health trend.
- Review the CMDB Activity summary for unexpected changes.
- Pick one weak component and work on its issues.
Monthly
- Go to Reporting and run the Executive CMDB Health report.
- Export the report for stakeholders.
Refresh
- cmdbx refreshes the dashboard automatically every 2 minutes.
- Click Refresh to refresh now.
- The page shows the time of the last refresh.
The dashboard shows data from the last sync. To get new data from ServiceNow, run a sync.
Environments
The dashboard shows the active environment. Use the environment selector in the top bar to change it.
