Reporting

Overview
Reporting turns CMDBx evidence into repeatable reports for stakeholders. Each report shows the current evidence for the selected environment, with the evidence time, the population that the report covers, and its limitations.
Go to Reporting in the workspace menu.

The Governance and Audit report requires tenant management permission.
How to Run a Report
- Go to Reporting.
- Select a report in the report library.
- In Report controls, set the period and the filters for the report.
- To compare with the previous period, select Compare previous period.
- Click Apply filters.
Each report has its own filters. For example, CMDB Change and Drift has sync run, change domain, impact, and coverage filters. Data Freshness and Lifecycle Risk has a Stale after setting.
Click Reset to return to the default filters.
How to Export a Report
- Click Export JSON to download the report data.
- Click Print / PDF to print the report or save it as a PDF from your browser.
CMDBx records each export in the compliance audit log.
Reports show live evidence. Scheduled delivery and saved report snapshots are not available yet. For a report that must not change after you share it, export it.
How to Read a Report
- Each report states the environment and the time of its evidence.
- Population coverage shows how many CIs or records the report includes.
- The methodology and limitations explain what the report does not measure.
- The Service Impact and Exposure report counts outage and exposure analyses separately.
